Het drukkers jaarboek 1907 (The Printer’s Yearbook, 1907)

We just digitized the second volume of Het drukkers jaarboek (The Printer’s Yearbook). This series was published in Amsterdam in the early 20th century. Between 1906 and 1911 four yearbooks about were made.

This tome was published in 1907 and that’s the second volume. They were intended to stimulate a broader and more logical interpretation of the art of printing. Includes astonishing examples of decorative printing and type faces. Works of famous artists such as William Morris, Dante Rossetti, Burne-Jones, printed on the Kelmscott press. Texts dedicated to the American typesetting, reading proofs, the revival of the book art in England, and much more!

Hardcover, 1907, 216pp. + approx. 52pp. ads. 86 illustrations.
