I’m sure you know this feeling when you see something that really connects with you but are uncertain whether you are ready to spend money on it. That’s precisely what happened to me with one of Luise Blackbird’s prints.
I’ve been looking at these posters almost all the time I spent at the Boekkunstbeurs – the Book Arts Fair in Leiden. Trigger Press had its tables set up right across the aisle from my place. And by the end of the second day, I decided it’s time to reward myself with something special.
Luise Blackbird is a graphic designer & letterpress worker from the UK. For the last 20+ years, she’s the person behind the Trigger Press. The posters she sold at the Boekkunstbeurs are inspiring, witty, and sarcastic. And what else does anyone need? =)
