Spine Rounding Form (Rundeholz) for Bookbinders with Two Pestles

Spine-former used to create curved spines of books with seven grooves of the following diameters:
– 50 mm (2")
– 40 mm (1 1/2")
– 36 mm (1 3/8")
– 30 mm (1 1/8")
– 20 mm (3/4")
– 16 mm (5/8")
– 12 mm (1/2")

This spine rounding form is made from laminated oak beam or laminated beech beam.

Along with the tool come two pestles. Each pestle is tapered on both sides (4 different diameters) to allow using them with different grooves.

All measurements are made in mm and sizes in inches are approximate.
