Wooden Tools Are Returning to Our Store For a Limited Time!

This holiday season I will produce a limited quantity of bookbinding tools made with wood, plywood, and particleboard (the latter one I use for simple sewing frames.) And the 25% Black Friday discount is applicable to all these tools!

These tools have received multiple 5-star reviews during the years I’ve been making them for bookbinders from all the world. I was a bit upset that I do not have a permanent woodworking workshop after our move to the Netherlands. But especially for this occasion, I’m renting a space to fulfill all the orders.

My tools can be split into four groups:

  • Sewing frames
  • Bookbinding presses
  • Rounding tools

Sewing Frames

I offer a frame with a slotted upper plank with hooks to tie the threads to. As well as a simpler and cheaper version with the slot in the upper plank.

The third option is a 2-1 book press combined with a sewing frame (please see the photos in the Presses section.)

Bookbinding Presses

There are three main varieties of presses I offer: large lying and finishing presses, small lying and finishing presses and book presses.

Small presses come in a cheaper and a bit more expensive variations. The latter one has a nut fixed in one of the cheeks (similar to the larger presses), that allows you to tighten the press using handles only and no additional instruments.

Book presses are offered in lots of different sizes and plate thicknesses. As well as the 2-1 version I described above.

  • A double-sided tool with up to 7 grooves
  • A one-sided tool with up to 4 grooves
  • A square tool with four grooves

All of them are available in 20 cm, 30 cm, and 40 cm lengths.
