Digitized Book of The Week: A Short Historical Sketch of the Art of Bookbinding by William L. Andrews

Here is the last digitized book of October. It’s much smaller, and I wasn’t initially considering it to be scanned at all. First, we already have it in our Book Collection; second, it is available at the Smithsonian Libraries digital archive. But that last thing was exactly the reason I decided to scan and share it in the end. As it appears, my copy is in a slightly better condition than the one scanned by the SL =)

This first edition of the book was published in 1895 in New York by N.P. William L. Andrews and William Matthews for the benefit of the Art Loan Exhibition. In 12mo.

The book is already available to patrons of iBookBinding with pledges of $5 or more at Patreon.
